Murasame
The infamous Lump Liger. If only this model weren't prebuilt, I probably would like it more. Yes, I really like to build
the majority of my Zoids... now if only they'd rerelease some Grade Up Zoids done properly. Um, anyways, Murasame Liger is the first
Zoid in the Genesis line to utilize a prebuilt frame. All that you really have to "build" with this model is the armor... and that's
just a matter of cutting the parts off the sprues and putting them on the frame. Of particular amusement to me is the extra spazzy
spring loaded sword that pops out and flops to the side with the touch of a button. Which side depends on which way you put the
semicircle-ish frame on. Another somewhat irritating thing about this model is how easily the head frills come out. I don't think I
have ever successfully opened the cockpit without at least two of the things falling out. But anyways, when you turn the motor on,
Murasame will walk forward, chomping his jaws. On a positive note, the plastic quality for this model is excellent, most likely because
it's meant to be more of a toy than a model kit (Barring the head frillies and blade; those are made from a relatively soft plastic and the
sword is a bit prone to bending.). Murasame also
comes with several stickers specifically for the trim on the head frills and leg armor. But like I did with Mugen Liger, I did not apply
the stickers because I'd rather paint the armor once it warms up again. Murasame Liger is a good design, but I think it could have been
executed slightly better. And it is through writing these reviews, that I realize I feel much more bitter about prebuilt models than I may
come across in normal conversation XD;
