Stores

All of the stores listed here are ones I buy from personally or have come highly recommended from friends.

AmiAmi The first place I look when I am looking to buy any of the Kotobukiya models (Or Shinkis, haha), because 99% of the time these guys have it the cheapest. The only problem is because they price their items so well, they tend to sell out on the more popular items in a matter of a few days (I've heard minutes on some of their non- Zoid items). They are primarily a statue/completed model store though, so aside from the Kotobukiya kits, they don't seem to have any of the other Zoids kits.

HobbyLinkJapan The second place I look when I am looking to buy any of the Kotobukiya models (Or Shinkis :p). Since they've rolled out their "Our Price" system on the whole site, they are more competitive with AmiAmi's pricing, I find. Only have a few motorized kits in stock still, but that's the case pretty much everywhere at the time of writing. They are the only English online retailer who still sells Volks Five Star Stories kits, aside from Volks' own store.

Image Anime Not much by way of NJR Zoids, though they do carry the Kotobukiya line-up as well as all the new motorized releases coming out now. Customer service is excellent (They also have a nice store in NYC that I've visited many times), but their prices have become somewhat inflated in comparision to many other stores.

LeoShop Zoids Good overseas store to buy from, but you have to buy a minimum order of $30US. Like most stores these days, they primarily have the Kotobukiya models, though they have a few motorized ones floating around too.

Gundam Store and More Another good domestic store I buy from frequently. Although most of their Zoids are gone, they do have a few left, though I recommend emailing them before ordering to ensure that the item is in stock. They do have a nice selection of Gundam items, as their store name might indicate. They've always provided me with excellent customer service, so I don't have a problem recommending them.

G-SYSTEM Tons and tons of rare (And HUGE) Gundams, but the real draw to G-SYSTEM for me are their large-scale Five Star Stories model kits. Very expensive, but very beautiful when assembled.

MechaSkunk.com Sadly no longer selling my favorite metal detail parts, but should you come across any of them second- hand, I can vouch for their quality.

Toy-Wave.com Another really good overseas store. Prices are very good and they often have rare Zoid items in stock, but you can expect to pay what they're worth here. They also don't use boxes for standard shipping (Though you can ask for one, it just costs a little more). Instead they use massive amounts of bubble wrap, which has never caused me any problems as far as stuff breaking.

Treasure Japan My new preferred deputy service for bidding on Yahoo!Japan auctions since Hobby Frontier is sadly no longer around. I've done a few transactions with them and they seem to have the most reasonable fees and are easy to get in touch with if there's a question.

Yokattaweb.jp I have not used this deputy service myself yet, though I plan on using them should I need to purchase anything from Japanese webstores, as they have a flat commission rate for those types of orders.
