About Zoids (and me)

I've been collecting Zoids for 9 years now and customizing them for about as long. As you can probably see from my collection, I like the cat Zoids and dinosaur Zoids the most. I suppose in terms of customizing I'm more interested in making "eye candy" as opposed to making an extremely realistic looking model, though I can certainly appreciate all the work that goes into the latter. I just like shiny paint.

I first became interested in Zoids by watching the anime, as most Zoid fans do, but I consider myself more of a model fan moreso than a fan of the anime. I also like reading the OJR (Original Japan Release) battle story (Or at least the bits and pieces that have been translated) and the UK Zoids comic (Yay, EVIL Salamander!). And I still can't believe these models never caught my attention when I was a kid.

About this site

This is the second incarnation of my first site, Natsumi's Zoids, which was online around 2001, and hung around for a few years before my host kind of... died. It's existed as rustysalamander.net for 5 years, and will hopefully continue to do so for many years to come. This is the second version of rustysalamander.net and was built using Notepad and Dreamweaver. And now for copyright info.
